1. Overview

FestLiv is a festival-themed app for exploring events, creating and viewing community-style posts, and collecting festival passport badges. This Policy describes the information involved when you use the iOS app or this website.

The current app stores profile details, festival activity, posts, messages, moderation choices, and preferences primarily on your device. Media you add is also saved on your device. Content shown in the app may include bundled sample material. A locally displayed action should not be assumed to publish information to an online service.

This website is an informational site. It does not offer account sign-in, a contact form, advertising trackers, or payment processing.

2. Information involved

Information you provide in the app

This may include an email address or Apple sign-in details used for your profile, your display name, photo, bio, location, event drafts, posts, comments, messages, reports, and blocked-account selections. If you select photos or videos, the selected files may be kept in the app's local storage.

Device features you choose to use

The app may request camera, microphone, photo-library, or notification permissions when a feature needs them. You can decline or change permissions in iOS Settings. Apple processes Apple sign-in according to its own privacy practices; FestLiv receives the account information Apple makes available for the sign-in flow.

Website and support contact

If you email us, we receive the address and information in your message so we can respond. A provider hosting this website may keep ordinary technical request logs, such as an IP address, browser information, and access time, for delivery and security.

3. How information is used

Information in the current app is used to display your profile, remember your festival selections, show your created content and conversations, track badge progress, and apply report or block choices. If you contact support, we use your message to answer your question, investigate a safety issue, or address a privacy request. Technical website logs, if created by the host, may be used to deliver and secure the website.

4. Visibility and sharing

Information you enter into the current app is primarily stored locally and is not automatically made public simply because it appears in a community-style screen. If you choose to export or share content through iOS or another service, that service and its recipients may receive what you share. Apple may process information for Sign in with Apple. Email providers process messages sent to our support address. If connected or public features are introduced later, we will update this Policy to explain the data flow before those features are offered.

We may disclose information when required by applicable law or to address serious safety or security issues, to the extent such information is available to us.

5. Retention and deletion

Locally stored app information generally remains on your device until you edit it, delete your account from the app's Settings, remove the app, or clear its data. The in-app Delete Account option clears the app's local account and activity information, including locally stored media. Removing the app may also remove its local data, subject to your device and backup settings.

Support emails may be retained as reasonably needed to handle your request, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Files or messages you have deliberately shared outside FestLiv may remain with their recipients.

6. Your choices and requests

• Edit your profile and manage app permissions through the app or iOS Settings.
• Block users and use the in-app reporting controls where shown.
• Delete your local account and activity data in FestLiv Settings.
• Contact us to ask about information we hold through support correspondence, or to request its correction or deletion.

Privacy rights vary by location. We may ask for information needed to verify a request before acting on it. To make a request, email festLiv@gmail.com.

7. Security

We use reasonable steps to protect information under our control. You can help protect locally stored information by securing your device and keeping iOS up to date. No storage or transmission method is guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children's privacy

FestLiv is not intended for children below the minimum age permitted to use such a service in their location. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when FestLiv's features or data practices change. The revised Policy will be posted here with a new effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
